Toyota Turns Heads with its Latest 860 Special Edition
Going to be a very limited edition, the 860 Coupe model for the 2017 model year features two exclusive (it comes to Supernova Orange and Halo White) paint choices and some added stuff along with some interior upgrades, with no mechanical changes under the hood. Aimed to target youth, this coupe seems to be a perfect sports car which can effortlessly (but with a striking effect, though) be customized.
Toyota announces only 1,720 units to be built; 860 in unique trim Supernova Orange paint and another 860 in Halo White, with two black racing-inspired body stripes, LED foglights, a black rear spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels, finished also in black. To enhance its aerodynamics, the carmaker adds a special underbody function panel. The black-leathered interior features a contrast orange stitching inside including seats, shift boot, steering wheel and door panels. In terms of the interior’s improvement, the design team offered a 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster featuring not only basical trip information, but also stop watch, hp-torque curves, a g-force meter, MPG and engine coolant.
The 860 Special Edition will cost $30,040 for a six-speed manual and up to $30,760 for a six-speed automatic gearbox with Dynamic Rev Management Technology and paddle shifters.
