Trail Warrior Is Set to Conquer New York
Last year, Nissan made waves at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show with three brilliant Winter Warrior concepts. This year, the carmaker follows up the Warrior Project’s success displaying at the forthcoming New York Auto Show the creative 2017 Rogue Trail Warrior. The track-equipped SUC features one-off custom work and some bespoke tidbits including LED lights and lemon-tinted headlights, traversing equipment and custom fender flares designed in military style.
Underpinning the restyled version of the 2017 Nissan Rogue, the 170-hp concept is powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder DOHC paired with the Xtronic CVT delivering 175 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel-drive system intelligently sends power to all tracks to tackle any terrains like sandy dunes. Following the carmaker’s tradition, the unique tracked crossover concept is wrapped with a special pixel “Desert Tan” camouflage. The off-road-ready SUV rides on 48-inch Dominator tracks, which are also finished in khaki paint, for a striking, rugged look.
