Transformers’ Drift and Lone Sniper Captured While Filming
Stars of the upcoming 2017 Transformers: The Last Knight, directed by Michael Bay, have been spied filming off Webberville, MI, providing a closer look to two badass beasties. How do you expect them to appear? Mark Wahlberg? Anthony Hopkins? If so, you are a bit wrong here, it comes to the fabulous Mercedes-AMG GT R starring as Drift. The other one is the gobsmacking Corvette Z06 to impersonate the new Transformers’ character, the Lone Sniper.
As you may remember, the Drift appeared in the Transformers: Age of Extinction previously portrayed by the breathtaking Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse playing with a blue-and-black color scheme. If keeping eyes on these spied shots, it becomes clear that the best Bumblebee’s fried, the Mercedes-AMG GT R, is all about changing the color featuring race-tracking red-and-black hues and insane aerodynamics. The newest Last Knight’s character, Lone Sniper, still remains a mystery as we know almost nothing about the gimmick so far. The acid-like paint scheme in psychedelic lime-and-anthracite colors for the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was chosen to emphasize the cartoonish vehicle’s look, and it’s a real deal! The movie’s vehicle team did some significant alterations to the Z06’ exterior including the rear spoiler; as a result, it appears ready to hit all racetracks. Can’t wait until the next summer to see how these ultimate vehicles get in striking robot warfare.
