Ultra Lightweight and Super Exclusive: Pagani Zonda Released HP Barchetta at Pebble Beach
A new Zonda dubbed the HP Barchetta, is considered to be a rather unexpected but pleasant surprise by Pagani to debut at the current Concours d’Elegance. Roofless and extremely customized (as only three units are planned to be produced), the exclusive V-12-powered Barchetta made waves at Pebble Beach, conquering all the hearts with Pagani’s wildest ever interpretation of the supercar yet. This stunning, one of three, speedster is destined for Horacio Pagani, company’s boss, to mark his 60s birthday, hence the HP lettering.
The main feature of the HP Barchetta is its thin, partially chopped windscreen; then, the contrasting wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires along with a host of carbon composite components including a huge carbon rear wing are also worth mentioning. Featuring generally a flowing, open design, the open-top supercar is considered to weight just 1250kg. Under the hood, the limited-run Barchetta sits on a 7.3L V-12 engine by Mercedes-AMG paired to a six-speed manual gearbox. The absolute nutjob!
