Umberto Palermo Shows Off A Special Version of Alfa Romeo 4C
Umberto Palermo Design, the Italian coachbuilder, revealed an updated version of the next Alfa Romeo 4C. Dubbed the Alfa Romeo Mole Construction Artisan 001, the attractive concept is wrapped in high quality carbon fiber following the Giulia-like styling but keeping more, MORE aggressive look. The concept presumably rolls on the same 1.75-liter turbocharged engine that makes 258 pound-feet of torque and 237 horsepower.
Both interior and exterior have faced some modifications; the Alfa Romeo Mole Construction Artisan 001 features a two-tone tan-and-black paint scheme with contrast stitching and beautiful carbon and leather adds-on inside. There’s a digital instrument cluster, however, the panel lacks an infotainment screen. The exterior look is even more highlighted with a huge under spoiler, more dynamic skirts, the lower fascia that is aimed to accentuate diagonal corner LED lights and revised pillars. The most significant modifications have taken place in the rear – here the concept car gets new taillights, the retro-designed engine cover, stacked tailpipes and the 8C-style bumper.
