Volkswagen Introduces R-Line Package for 2018 VW Tiguan
For the current Los Angeles Auto Show, the Wolfsburg-headquartered automaker rolls out the new R-Line appearance package for two trims, SEL and SEL Premium. For $1,795 and $1,495 respectively, customers can get not only immersive driving experience, but also the look to drop a lot of jaws, with a rear diffuser finished in gloss black, side skirts and wheel arch extensions suiting the body color, as well as swellfish bumpers and 19-or20-inch aluminum alloy wheels. The R-Line includes a nutty badging, starting with the steering wheel and stainless-steel pedals, up to the logoed doorsills and infotainment panel.
There is the performance, of course, and this is the same old song. Powered by an unaltered 2.0-liter turbo four TSI, bundled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, the appearance package for 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan packs a 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque wallet. The nifty-looking R-Line is expected to be put on the automotive market in early 2018.
