The Way to Go: Fiat Showcased Facelifted 500L for 2018
Car enthusiasts could be thankful as long-awaited upgrades for one of the European best-selling models in the segment are edging closer. Fiat has lifted the curtain on the much-anticipated mid-life facelift for the 2018 Fiat 500L, so the crossover finally got some desired refresh. Wish there would be a way U.S. sales going to be equally successful.
Most of all, keen enthusiasts scored the 500L severely for controversial styling and lacking build quality. Well, the exterior design has got much updates with the current LED lights, reshaped front and rear fascias retaining a bit more angular shape. For European market, updated rear foglights will be offered. There are also new chrome-plated accents, plenty of chrome inserts and a sharp lower grille with a studded chrome mesh to be available. In terms of color choice, Fiat will offer all 37 paint combinations there; along with three types of top color (one can choose a matte black or white, glossy black or body-painted roof color) and three different versions including Wagon, five-passenger Cross and seven-passengers (optionally) Urban ones. Fiat claimed 40 percent of MPV components have been redesigned and \ or added new; keen enthusiasts consider the exterior design remains overwhelmingly unchanged.
Inside, the interior upgrades look pretty nice; the steering wheel looks quite different with fancy chrome accents. In terms of infotainment system, the latest version of UConnect has been incorporated including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
