2019 Chevrolet Silverado
2018 seems to be a year of powerful full-size trucks to dominate at the current Detroit Auto Show – along with the 2019 Ford Ranger and the 2019 RAM 1500, now GM introduced the latest version of its top-selling models, Silverado pickups. The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado is getting significantly – 450 pounds, actually – lighter, featuring plenty of aluminum in the tailgate, doors and in the hood. Claimed to be the best-performing diesel in the segment, the redesigned Silverado also improved performance using Dynamic Fuel Management system.
For the new truck, a variety of trim options and engine choices will be offered including both a 5.3-liter and a 6.2-liter V8 that will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Another innovation concerns the diesel – the 2019 Silverado will boast a Duramax 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine mated to the same transmission – as well as a longer and wider wheelbase. Add more cargo space, a redesigned bold styling with an integrated rear spoiler, sleek ultra-narrow headlights, a massive grille and LED running lights, and you’ve got the kind of truck you exactly need to roaring life.
