All-Electric Jag SUV Storms Geneva
It seems a new wave of electrified jaguars is coming soon. Here, in Geneva, the first fully electric brand’s SUV, the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace, makes its premiere in its full glory, and it will certainly beat the Tesla Model X with the starting price of $69,500.
Specs of the I-Pace are quite impressive; the 90kWh lithium-ion battery-electric vehicle benefits from two electric motors and all-wheel-drive system, with a rated driving range of 240 miles if fully charged. The total power output of 512 lb-ft of torque and 394 horses makes the British electric cat capable of accelerating from standstill to 60mph in 4.5 seconds. Single charging via public facilities will take approximately 40 minutes; home charging when using 230V\32A AC wall box will require around 10 hours.
According to the luxury British maker, the I-Pace is considered to be the first Jag using artificial-intelligence technology to complete some driving routines on automatic via the new setup. On top of that, the all-electric Jag gets the new InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with a digital dashboard and two touchscreens, the new EV navigation system and one-pedal regenerative braking.
