Arminera Hussaraya Debuts at the 2016 Autosport International
Last weekend, Birmingham welcomed a new supercar debut. A Polish startup showcased its racing GT version of the road supercar in England at the world-known 2016 AutoSport International Show. The engineering team has been worked out this Hussaraya project for last several years, and now presented the results aimed to attract an upscale clientele as well as get a feedback.
Arrinera is going to run the first Polish supercar in such GT4 races and events like British GT Championship or the Pirelli World Challenge this year. The car maker anticipates final testing the GT version in England and claims an estimated track top speed of approximately up to 160mph. The price would start at £139-140,000 for this higher-end racer. Only three units are expected to be released this year. The Polish startup also confirmed the release of the street-going version in 2016.
Under the hood, the model features a GM-based 6.2-litre V8 engine with 604 pound-feet of torque delivering 420hp; it is powered via six-speed sequential Hewland gearbox and mid-mounted powertrain. The total weight of the carbon-fiber, aluminum and Kevlar package of this track-only vehicle makes just 2,755 pounds.
