Fisker Revealed EMotion EV Prototype at the 2018 CES
As always, carmakers made a big splash at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. And Henrik Fisker’s company is no exception, when it comes to charging tech the company has been working on. Well, Fisker announced to reveal its marvelous EMotion EV prototype powered by ultra-secret solid-state battery technology. The carmaker promises it to be a game-changer for both charging technology and EV segment due to the electric driving range to be drastically increased.
Resting on 24-inch Pirelli tires, the 780-hp EMotion makes use of the electric powertrain; the sprint from zero to 60mph happens in less than 3 seconds, with an estimated top speed of 161mph. An estimated driving range is projected to increase to tremendous 400 miles. The butterfly doors steal all the show when opening via smartphone. The revolutionary EMotion will reportedly cost $129,000 offering an understated leather interior with electric adjustable seats and plenty of entertainment inside. A vegan interior option is cool, at least, if solid-state battery tech fails to work.
