Let’s Go There, the V8-Powered 2018 Holden Commodore Challenges
The new, V8-powered Buick Regal sedan was unveiled by Holden recently. Earlier, they released first concept sketches with rendering of its ‘2018 Australian Supercars Series’ showing a Holden-liveried variant of 2018 Opel Insignia-based Commodore. Now Holden shares a beefy look of the new Buick Regal sedan badged as the Holden Commodore in Australia. Even though the company will cease its manufacturing in Australia by the end of the year, Holden DID unveil a really badass racer.
Powered by a still strident V8, the car remains rear-wheel-drive. However, according to the press release, a new twin-turbocharged V6 is currently under in-depth development for the next 2019 season. The race-prepped car shares its main silhouette with the American Buick Regal featuring hot Supercar Series styling. It has got flowing lines along with sharp angles boasting a huge rear wing and a well-executed low profile. With the ambitious next year following V6 model, the Holden Commodore is expected to make its race debut in 2018. Hope we could see a definitely striking race battle on the track.
