Mercedes-Benz Is to Promote a New Master Solution Program with the New Toolbox Concept
Mercedes-Benz teamed up Renntech of Stuart, an aftermarket tuning company, to create another funky concept. After such concepts as the DJ van or the Sprinter Extreme, Mercedes unveiled at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show, the Mercedes Metris Toolbox concept. The van is aimed to help in promoting the Master Solution program, and it looks like a kooky toolbox droid toy. Definitely bizarre.
The toolbox-on-wheels van shares its platform with the Metris Worker model and can effortlessy be converted into a giant toolbox, with some extra equipment available to be ordered. The concept is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of totque – quite enough to accelerate 0-60mph in around 9 seconds. The Mercedes Metris Toolbox boasts also one of the widest arrays of worksite-friendly options and storage features ever.
