According to the sales data worldwide, the Outlander PHEV could consider as a relative high-flyer to take the next, fourth, AWD plug-in vehicle in the PEV 100,000 sales club sitting alongside with the Chevrolet Volt, Tesla Model S and the Nissan Leaf (the global sales records approximately equal to 110,000, 120,000 and 218,000 correspondingly). The Prius Plug-in car is expected to become the next likely successor to follow the abovementioned PEVs.
