Sharper and Lighter – Subaru Teases with 2017 Impreza

Subaru promises to delight us with both brand-new 2017 Impreza hatchback and sedan at the forthcoming NYAS which will start on March 23rd. The carmaker has revealed a single dark teaser image to let us guess about the completely redesigned concept styling. Well, we could a conclusion that the conceptual models looked definitely bolder than the production ones.

The teaser shot suggests us a blend of two previous Impreza concepts unveiled in LA and Tokyo last year. Under the image of the front end, the model underpins the improved modular architecture which let the model look wider and lower compared to the conceptual showroom units. The latter featured sharp-pointed LED running lights hogged the limelight to the hexagonal grille. This idea of a bold-looking grille has been kept; however, the design team shifted the headlights, for some reason or other. The previous version apparently looked bolder. Subaru nevertheless promises the production models will be more dynamic and efficient.
