A Striking Lightning: Pagani Showcased Its Ultra-Rare Huayra Lampo

It’s called the Lampo, derived from the Italian word for ‘lightning’, not the ‘Lambo’. For its latest stunning creation, Pagani collaborated with Lapo Elkann, creative director at Garage Italia Customs, a Milan-based customization atelier. The highly eccentric Lampo borrows some timeless design cues and is  inspired by the legendary turbine-powered Fiat Turbina Concept which debuted over 60 years ago in 1954; surely, the Huayra Lampo is powered the familiar – to us – a 6.0-litre V12, as the standard Huayra that’s good enough for 754bhp. The two-tone white-and-red livery was developed as a way to pay homage to the original one-tone painted Turbina. Along with the vivid exterior paint, the Lambo benefits from the carbon fiber panels, adorned with the bold paintwork, featuring also huger air intakes and an Italian tricolor motif on the rear wheels arches, with bespoke ‘lightning’ finishing. Moreover, aluminum body parts and wheels are finished in old gold tributing the Fiat’s original logo. In terms of the cabin, the main theme keeps going with a hand-crafted brown-and-red stitched leather interior and the carbon fiber trim to feast eyes with the dashboard and the steering wheel.
