A True British Icon Ever: Kahn Design Announced the Flying Huntsman 105 Long Nose
Afzal Kahn always makes waves with his flamboyant automotive creatures; this time is no exception. Under the long name “Land Rover Defender XS Station Wagon 2.2 TDCi Flying Huntsman 105 Long Nose” the latest jaw-dropping coachbuilt model is meant. Wow that’s crazy! Paying tribute to the original Land Rover Defender off-roader, considered to be one of the most all-time favorite British vehicles ever, the new “amazaballs” Flying Huntsman 105 Long Nose is claimed to tame any kind of terrain.
The tuned off-roader features a redesigned silhouette with a touch of luxury: extra 400mm have been added to the wheelbase, for better off-road capability. A fabby exterior wide arch body kit includes a custom alloy front wing, widened fenders with integrated vents, an all-new X-Lander front grille, LED Diamond Bright headlights, a restyled front bumper with lights, along with a fixed panoramic glass sunroof. The Chelsea Truck Company provided an exclusive set of gold-striped Matte Black Retro alloy wheels completed with 265x75x16’ tyres. The upgrade, however, has taken its toll on power. A 2.2-liter TDCI engine mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox operated by push-button control, it means a four-cylinder power unit. Inside the vehicle, the off-roader boasts the custom-tailored interior with Nappa leather treatment, custom Piano Black center console and Almadine leather GTB seats. Pricing starts at £89,995.
