New MINI EV Will Employ Three-Door Hardtop, Arrive in 2019

Expected to come in 2019, a pure-electric Mini Cooper version may have around 300-miles range on a single charge and will apparently use a three-door hardtop version. In such a way, BMW Group is likely going to electrify its brands’ lineups. The all-electric Mini (the production name has been known yet) is slated for 2019 to go into production.

On Tuesday, the carmaker announced the latest 2016 John Cooper Works Clubman, a wagon version of the previous generation, to appear as an executive car. Pricing has not been published, but the JCW wagon is expected to go for appr.$35,500. If so, it seems like MINI would reduce the executive level vehicles’ pricing.
