For its debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, the ultra-popular compact Jeep Cherokee gets a mild refreshed look and a revised interior as well as a new powertrain option with solid fuel economy. The ultimate SUV’s latest iteration is expected to be available in five trims – Latitude, Latitude Plus, luxury Overland, trail-rated Trailhawk, and Limited – in early spring of 2018, according to Fiat-Chrysler.

Shortly before the forthcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, Jeep has just announced two stunning special edition trims to debut there. The beige-painted 2017 Renegade Deserthawk and blacked-out 2017 Renegade Altitude models will be completely revealed as the 2017 model year trims to expand the subcompact crossover range. Over the next two months, both bespoke off-roader models are expected to reach showrooms.
