2019 Acura RDX Qualifies for TOP SAFETY Pick Plus Award

The IIHS has given A Top Safety Pick Plus Award to the 2019 Acura RDX after putting it through a full pack of crash tests and safety examinations. It should be noted that every year it gets harder and harder to earn this rating award as the vehicle must fulfill a list of strong requirements. The latter includes ‘Good’ rating in such crash test categories as head restraints, roof strength, side impact, driver’s side front overlap impact as well as moderate front overlap, not to mention ‘Advanced’ or ‘Superior’ rating in the front crash prevention test.
